About Us

 Our aim is

To provide a happy, safe, secure and stimulating environment.
To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a community based group that actively involves parents.
To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

We offer your child

A specially tailored curriculum leading towards approved Early Learning Goals in the Foundation Stage.
Individual care and attention made possible by a high ratio of adults to children.
Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your own child’s progress.

Curriculum

Within the group, all children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace.  We provide a planned curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of each individual child.

By means of developmentally appropriate play activities and a high level of individual adult input, we can offer a curriculum that ensures progress towards Early Leaning Goals within the Foundation Stage.  The Foundation Stage is organised into six key areas of learning that lay a secure basis for a child’s future education

1. Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
2. Communication, Language and Literacy.
3. Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy.
4. Knowledge and Understanding of the World.
5. Physical Development.
6. Creative Development.

The Foundation Stage prepares children for learning in Key Stage 1 and is consistent with the National Curriculum.
